Production process
Chianti, with its Riserva variant, is one of Tuscany’s most iconic wines. The main grapes are Sangiovese, with possible additions of other authorized grape varieties. Vinification follows strict rules to obtain the DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) designation. Maturation takes place in wooden barrels, giving the wine complexity and structure.
