It is produced with the oldest part of our vineyards, facing south in the hilly terrain where the grapes reach their most excellent quality, and aged in oak barrels for 12 months and 6 months of refinement in the bottle.

It continues to age in an ancient cellar at via Borgunto 7, corner of Piazza Grande in Arezzo, where humidity regulation and a constant temperature are ensured by the presence of a medieval well.

With its low light, it becomes the ideal environment to make our Riserva Vigna Vecchia a wine of absolute qualitative importance.

Production grapes

The blend respects Tuscan tradition: 89% Sangiovese, the heart of Chianti, enriched with 5% Canaiolo and a touch of 8% Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia del Chianti. The blend is completed by 2% other red grapes, selected for their balance and complexity.

Tasting notes

Color: Ruby red with lively reflections, tending towards garnet with aging.
Aroma: Fruity (marasca cherry, pomegranate) and floral (rosehip), with elegant tertiary notes of cinnamon and licorice.
Flavor: Dry, full and harmonious, with an intense and persistent aftertaste.

Recommended food pairings

It is at its best with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and Tuscan cured meats.
Also ideal with rustic first courses or game.
