Vigna Vecchia is the flagship wine of the Borgunto Winery: it comes from the estate's oldest vineyards, with vines over thirty years old, deeply rooted in the clay-limestone soils of the Arezzo Hills. The deep roots, the low productivity of the older vines, and the temperature variations typical of this area guarantee an aromatic concentration and complexity that young vineyards cannot replicate.     Intense ruby \u200b\u200bred with garnet highlights. On the nose: Morello cherry, pomegranate, and rose hips, with tertiary notes of cinnamon, licorice, and vanilla from the wood aging. On the palate: dry, full, and harmonious, with well-integrated silky tannins and lively acidity. A long finish with hints of red fruit and spice. Aging potential: 5-10 years from harvest.<\/p>\n
